Holiday Dressing...

Most years on this day I'm trying to come up with my perfect Thanksgiving day outfit. We are a casual bunch, but I still love coming up with something fun & festive (after all there will be pictures!)... This year we are going to Yosemite (which I'm SO excited for!), but my wardrobe will simply be things to keep me warm! I decided I would still come up with my dream outfit though - and this way I don't actually have to pay for it :)

I've always been a bit of a granny, so it's fitting that I love lace! I love this lace shirt. So pretty & you don't even need many accessories...

Like I said, we are a casual bunch. This cotton blazer would be absolutely perfect for one of our family get together...

This is the little something that would make the outfit seem holiday worthy!

I really do need to come up with a cute Christmas Eve & family Christmas party outfit for this year though! Maybe I'll hit the JCrew outlet that's on our way to LA!

Psycho...

I FINALLY saw Psycho! I absolutely love Alfred Hitchcock, but had never actually gotten around to seeing some of his most famous movies (but I've seen random obscure ones...). Well, I finally Tivo'd Psycho & watched it last night. It was BRILLIANT! I cannot sing it's praises enough. It was very different than I expected it to be, but in a good way. This makes my top 5 movies without a doubt. If you haven't seen this movie, I highly recommend it!

AMA Best Dressed...

Confession: I didn't actually watch the AMA's... I loved reading all about it in the blogs today though! I have to say my favorites are pretty predictable... but that's why they are my favorites, right?

I love Miley's whole look. Her dress is really pretty, but I'm much more impressed by her hair and makeup!

Love the long-sleeved dress. It's much more interesting than always wearing strapless. The colors in the dress are also so pretty!

Katy Perry does not usually make my best dressed list, but I love this whole look here! The pale pink dress looks great with her dark hair!
