We've been experiencing some pretty unusual weather for southern California. I have always loved rainy days and storms, but I never truly understood the full benefit until today! Today around 11:20 we experienced a black out at work! Given that almost all of our work is done on computers we were left with not much to do but wait for the power to come back. The power came back about 45 minutes later, but our computers were still not working! They were down for almost 3 hours! So needless to say, today was a very interesting (fun!) day at work! Thank you God for a break in the monotony of work!

hahaha that is amazing! but i totally would have wanted to GO HOME! we had the 40 minute blackout and we had to stay - the lights came back on JUST as Kathy walked in the hall to shut the office. BUMMER!
