2008 Recap...

Technically this is a little late, but 2009 snuck up on me... 2008 has been quite the year... Honestly it feels like it has lasted forever... Some of the highights would have to be last semester of college, graduating! going to Hawaii, Nashville with the bro, learning to drive, working at a job that I am so thankful for (while it lasts), and most importantly, countless treasured moments with dear friends (concerts, movies, diz...) All in all it has been an excellent year! Here are some of my favorite things of 2008...

* Favorite Movie... This had to be a 3 way tie between Prom Night, Sisterpants 2, and Pineapple Express (not only did I love the movies... I had amazing experiences with the people I saw them with!)
* Favorite Song... I would be a traitor if I didn't say Womanizer
* Favorite Book... Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (even though it wasn't written this year, I read it this year)
* Favorite This American Life... "A Little Bit of Knowlegde" ... the birth of the term modern jackass, which I often want to use, but try to refrain from (seriously go listen to it)
* Favorite TV show... I'm going to have to say Gossip Girl... it made me love Monday...

Even though 2008 was great... let's hope 2009 is even better:)

Here is a recap of 2008 in pics...

Days Off...

Days off from work are pure bliss... I got to sleep in this morning. Other than sleeping in (which was my absolute favorite part) I got to go to lunch and the movies with the fam. We saw The Curious Case of Benjamin Button. It was way better than I originally expected... it was thought provoking and simply pleasant to watch.

On a completely random note... I really want a polaroid camera!

Just For Fun...

Quizilla...

"What type of Queen are you?"

You were Marie Antoinette, the young Austrian Princess whisked off to France to be crowned Queen. Marie Antoinette suffered much oppression and hatred from the French people because of her love of luxury. She was graceful, extravagant and loved a good party! She was a social butterfly who flitted from event to event, always in the latest fashions. She faced a lonely, friendless existence in France so she made her own fun and drew comfort from her indulgence. She had a very kind nature and was a devoted mother and giver to charity, which is a side seldom seen of this famous, misunderstood Queen who was a fashion icon as well as a monarch.

Sunday Afternoons...

I absolutely love Sunday afternoons... Today I went to church, came home and had lunch, took Henry to the park, and now I am listening to Love Story and loving life! What a great day!

p.s. I wish I was the little girl in that picture!

I Wish...

I was feeling the Christmas spirit, but I'm just not. I guess I need to do Christmassy things. Here are a couple of ideas...

1) Watch Christmas Movies

2) Decorate

3) Get a Peppermint Mocha from Starbucks

Or maybe I should just stop being hater... I would appreciate any help getting in the Christmas spirit though!
