If only I could sing like this...
I am completely obsessed with this song. Shelly & I were at the movies seeing Bride Wars and this song came on. We both immediately recognized the song, but could not place where we knew it from. It turns out Shelly actually has the CD (still don't know how I know the song) and I have been listening to this song on repeat since I got it! Love it!

For the past 3 years my parents have gotten me that perfume sampler from Sephora. I spend many days (weeks this time) testing and wearing them all until I find my favorite. Well, the first year they did this there was a misprint on the voucher that just so happened to be for the perfume I wanted:) It allowed me to get the bigger size at no extra cost (cha-ching). The second year nothing happened. But tonight, I went to Sephora and they were out of the perfume I wanted in the size that the voucher allowed for, so they let me pay $15 more for double the size! WooHoo! The Sephora god's are on my side!
Side note: Tomorrow is my 6 month anniversary of working at ECCU... crazy!

Words of Affirmation...
I found this blog that was doing a words of affirmation project of sorts. People could send in affirming messages (meant for someone in particular) and the website would turn them into a cool sign/icon. Some of them are corny, some are clearly inside jokes, but some are awesome! I think I'll post them from time to time because they make me smile:)

2008 Recap...
Technically this is a little late, but 2009 snuck up on me... 2008 has been quite the year... Honestly it feels like it has lasted forever... Some of the highights would have to be last semester of college, graduating! going to Hawaii, Nashville with the bro, learning to drive, working at a job that I am so thankful for (while it lasts), and most importantly, countless treasured moments with dear friends (concerts, movies, diz...) All in all it has been an excellent year! Here are some of my favorite things of 2008...
* Favorite Movie... This had to be a 3 way tie between Prom Night, Sisterpants 2, and Pineapple Express (not only did I love the movies... I had amazing experiences with the people I saw them with!)
* Favorite Song... I would be a traitor if I didn't say Womanizer
* Favorite Book... Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close (even though it wasn't written this year, I read it this year)
* Favorite This American Life... "A Little Bit of Knowlegde" ... the birth of the term modern jackass, which I often want to use, but try to refrain from (seriously go listen to it)
* Favorite TV show... I'm going to have to say Gossip Girl... it made me love Monday...
Even though 2008 was great... let's hope 2009 is even better:)
