The Nordies sale is coming (the good one) and my mom and I usually make appointments for the presale. It's really fun! They take you upstairs to the 4th floor and let you go through all the stuff before it's released for the sale. But we were trying to be good this year so we didn't make an appointment. Well then of course we regretted it, so we stopped by the mall on the way home from work today and it just so happens that Katie's appointment was a no show!!! I got a lot of good practical stuff, but I have to say I'm most excited for my new Juicy sunglasses! I was trying to be very conservative, but these Juicy glasses just spoke to me... I can't wait till I can pick them up on the 14th... I'm not excited about the bill that will come with them though!
Yes, it is independance day. But in my family, 4th of July is better know as the day I ruined. Yes it's true, I did ruin one 4th of July... Let me try to explain...
The 4th of July I ruined was the last one we lived in VA. We were in the process of selling our house, and i was basically mourning the move to come. I did not have much time left with my friends, so i was spending every ppssible second with them. That happened to involve me going to the movies several times during that week. Well, on the 4th, my family decided to go to the movies to see a movie I did not want to see. I told them that I would be sitting out. I wanted to stay home until we had plans later that night to meet up with our friends the Williams at a BBQ restaraunt. My mom told me that I had to go... and this is when it started. I basically refused to go to the movies and it became a battle of the wills between my mom and I. After quite the battle, my dad basically played peacemaker and they left me at home to go to the movies (they ended up being late and missing the movie.. ha) To make a long story short, I ended up having a grand time with my friends at dinner while the rest of the family was upset with me... we obviously made it through this :) But today will go down in history as the holiday I ruined! I simply DID. NOT. WANT. TO. GO. TO. THE. MOVIES.

Bug...
So, I love Mandy Moore... I was listening to her new CD and I think this may be my favorite song... I have to admit that I liked it even more when I realized it was about Ryan Adams! I just love the vibe this song has...

I'm a grown up...
Happy Anniversary to me...
I have officially had a job for 1 year now! Granted I was a temp for 8 of those months... but I was employed none the less...
It's crazy to see where a year has taken me...
I was so afraid of working after college, but I have learned an incredible amount and met some of the most amazing people... I'm even pretty used to getting to work at 8am! Like me dad told me...
"Only 49 more years to go!"
