I love stories set in the south. This summer I've really been enjoying some of the greatest southern stories.
My mom and I watched Secret Life of Bees today. I've read the book before, but it's been a while. I would love to re-read it, but it's stuck in some box in the garage. The movie is SO GOOD though! Definitely a must see.
To Kill a Mockingbird is one of my top 3 favorite books. We rented the CD's from the library and have been listening on our treks to and from LA! It's rare we find a book the whole family can agree on! We were also lucky enough to catch the movie the other day. It's as good as the book!Now I'm searching for another great Southern story... suggestions are welcome!

Well, Gone with the Wind is certainly a classic Southern story. I love the movie, although I have never read the book.
